May 9, 2019: The InGenuity Group was represented by Elizabeth Lance, MA, MASc. invited moderator for the SRED Stakeholder virtual conference. This full afternoon session appealed to SR&ED preparers, claimants, or anyone with an interest in the SR&ED program in Canada.
Agenda topics included new CRA directives, statistics by region, new ICT software examples and a review of recent SR&ED tax cases and judgements.

In-person Information Seminars on SR&ED Financial Issues
These identical information seminars provide a general overview of the financial aspects of the SR&ED Program. They are intended for financial or accounting staff already familiar with the basics of the SR&ED Program. Attendees will be taken through the completion of a T661 Form and the calculation of Investment Tax Credits. There is no charge to attend. Pre-registration is required, as seating is limited.

The CRA hosted a free online webinar on the SR&ED program, offering a general overview. This webinar explained the SR&ED eligibility criteria, what expenditures qualify, and how to file a claim. The webinar lasts for 90 minutes.1
