In-person Information Seminars on SR&ED Financial Issues
These identical information seminars provide a general overview of the financial aspects of the SR&ED Program. They are intended for financial or accounting staff already familiar with the basics of the SR&ED Program. Attendees will be taken through the completion of a T661 Form and the calculation of Investment Tax Credits. There is no charge to attend. Pre-registration is required, as seating is limited. * Note: online seminars are being held during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

The CRA hosted a free online webinar on the SR&ED program, offering a general overview. This webinar explained the SR&ED eligibility criteria, what expenditures qualify, and how to file a claim. The webinar lasts for 90 minutes.1
The 90-minute eligibility of work in SR&ED projects containing software development webinar is no longer available for playback, however, the transcript is still available. There is no indication of when a new live webinar on the topic will be held.
