We’ve been shortlisted for the best financial blog in the Canadian Weblog Awards.

On December 2, 2013 SR&ED Education and Resources was notified that we’ve been shortlisted in the Canadian Weblog Awards in the financial category.

The Canadian Weblog Awards are hosted by Elan Morgan and “promote good weblogs of all genres from across Canada year-round through regular interviews, articles, and the nomination, judging, and an award process that culminates with the announcement of the top three weblogs in each category on December 1st.”

The following are the other four deserving nominees:

The winners will be announced on December 7, 2013. Many thanks to Elan Morgan for organizing the awards and good luck to the other incredible blogs that have been nominated!

UPDATE: We came second!

We’re honoured to have performed so well against such esteemed competition. Thank you to the jurors for bestowing us with this award and to Elan Morgan for taking the time to recognize a brilliant crop of websites.

Congratulations to Save Money in Winnipeg, who took home the crown. Additionally, a special mention to the other nominees and their incredible finance blogs. We look forward to seeing who is chosen next year!
